| Comments | The original church on this site opened in 1863 and was demolished in the early 1890s. The congregation moved to Mersey Road Methodist church when the building of this new church was completed. However, not all the parishioners were happy and a mission school was erected on the Liverpool road site in 1892 and it remained a place of worship until 2001 and the image shows this church. |
