Showing the Model Village, and housing for the employees of William Hartley in Aintree. 

Comments	William Hartley had a factory at the docks in Bootle but in1886, at the age of forty, he built a huge factory in the middle of the fields at Aintree. The factory was sited at the junction of two main railway lines to improve distribution, and alongside it he built a model village to house his key workers.
