King's Gardens after the opening in 1913.
| Comments | The removal of the fairground to its present position allowed for the remodelling of gardens which surrounded Marine Lake. The new gardens were opened by King George V and Queen Mary when they visited Southport in 1913, and were given the new name King's Gardens. |
