| Comments | Linacre Methodist Mission was founded in 1894 by Elizabeth Walker and her son Albert James Walker. Originally operating in a house the demand for space grew and in 1900 the new Mission was built and extended in 1905. The building is grade II listed. The Mission now serves as a neighbourhood centre and is used for worship, community events and heritage displays. |
